About Us
Lea Fields Crematorium in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire, opened on 14 January, 2020.The crematorium's multi-faith chapel, which is situated at the site's highest point, has seating for 120 people, with standing room for additional mourners. There are tribute screens for pictures and video in the chapel, music can be played on a digital music system and services can be broadcast to people outside the chapel on speakers, live-streamed and recorded.
The standard duration of a service at the crematorium is 45 minutes, including 10 minutes for arrival and departure. Longer time slots can be booked in advance for an additional cost. The maximum duration of services starting at 09:00 or 09:45 is 45 minutes.
Other facilities at Lea Fields Crematorium include a covered floral display area, waiting room, vestry and toilets. There is disabled access and a hearing loop is available.
Lea Fields Crematorium's garden of remembrance has beautiful views across the woodlands of Nottinghamshire. A range of different memorials can be installed in the new gardens, which feature flower meadows and young trees. The most striking central memorials, include a granite mulberry tree, Barbican plaque and Sanctum 2000 vault.
A traditional book of remembrance can be inscribed with bespoke tributes. A digital copy of it can be viewed online.
The office at Lea Fields Crematorium is open 08:30-17:00, Monday-Thursday and 08:30-16:30 on Fridays.
The book of remembrance room is open 09:00-16:30, Monday-Friday, and 10:00-16:00 on weekends and bank holidays.
There is parking for 120 cars at the crematorium.
